Philippe
Guerry was born in 1963 near Lyons, France, and now lives
in Burgundy. He has been painting for 23 years.
Most of his work is dedicated to the human being and his
place in this world.
Since 1993, Philippe’s paintings have been exhibited
in many French cities, including Chalon-sur-Saone, Lyons,
Tours and Paris.
In 2001, a part of his work on animal skeletons was shown
at the “Musée d’histoire naturelle “
(Museum of Natural History) in Paris.
In 2005, his extensive collection on World War I , “the
Impossible Oblivion”, could be seen at the “Centre
Mondial de la Paix “ (World Peace Center) in Verdun
.
Since 2004, Philippe Guerry has been exhibiting his paintings
at the “Aux 3 Aches” gallery in Lyons.
Since last summer (2006), his work has also been on display
at Brazier Fine Art (www.brazierfineart.com)
in Richmond, Virginia.
